SHTTL is the story of the inhabitants of a Yiddish Ukrainian village at the border of Poland, 24 hours before Operation Barbarossa. The story is told through the eyes of four young characters whose life will be taken away at the end of the movie, when the Nazi troups enter the village. We will see them live, love, argue and be happy in the context of a world that doesn’t exist anymore and is long lost.
